What Is the Spark Clear Aligner Process?

Your Spark clear aligner journey begins with a consultation with our State Street Smiles team. We will evaluate your unique concerns, discuss your treatment goals, and capture digital impressions of your teeth. Next, we will create a custom treatment plan outlining every step of your transformation. You’ll even get a preview of your new smile!

You’ll receive a series of clear aligners, each pre-programmed to adjust the positioning of your teeth. You will need to wear your aligner trays for about 22 hours daily, taking them out only to eat, brush, or floss. About every 1-2 weeks, you’ll need to swap your aligners for the next in the series, following your custom treatment plan. Each aligner set is designed to shift your teeth closer to their desired position. Our experienced dentist will see you periodically to ensure your treatment progress stays on track.

Most patients complete treatment within 12-18 months, depending on their orthodontic needs. Once you achieve the desired results, we will provide you with custom retainers to help lock your teeth in their new position.
